LQ: How do you stop being a thought hoarder?

5 Ways To Free Your Mind

The concept of freeing up your mind can appear difficult because we’re always thinking. If you are a deep thinker this is for you. Taking the time to free your mind will make you a different person. You will become free from confusion, doubt, fear and stress. At first it may appear uncomfortable to think of nothing, because you’ve been used to always thinking something.

Try these 5 ways to declutter your mind.

   1. Re-think your thoughts

Think things differently, think on thinking. Make no decision until you have used another perspective on what your thinking. Use a higher level of thinking to determine your thoughts.

   2. Choose to let it go

Decide to not get angry. Anger can develop bitterness and attach itself to feel comfortable when you are not sure how to feel. It becomes a natural state for you. Know that anger can become an alternative for a response when you don’t know how to respond.

Free your mind to decide what adds value to your life, focus on that. Let the anger go and find a reason to make you happy. Don’t live in another person’s heart or head. Allow them to figure it out. Focus on your peace and freedom.

   3. Take a mini-mental vacation

Create space in your mind, to think freely. Clear your mind with conscious awareness and come into a relaxed physical and mental state.

    4. Discover silence

Consciously allow yourself to hear nothing. No TV, no radio, smartphone, iPad computer or another person. Totally tune everything out, purposefully.

Recognize silence, embrace it. Allow silence to readjust your thoughts, clear your mind. Become free of your thoughts. Escape with quietness, speechlessness, then see how much you can accomplish mentally.

     5. Breathe life in your mind.

Free your mind to survive what’s needed to exist with confidence. You have to defuse distractions. Let go of all worries, concerns, hurts, and pains. Then, accept that you don’t control what happens, this allows you to free you mind.
